Six persons were arrested following a 17-hour joint enforcement operation that commenced from 9.30 am on 12 May 2015.
Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division, Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement “F” Division and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) conducted checks at Public Entertainment (PE) outlets and several residential units in Punggol, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Yishun and Sembawang.
3 A total of six persons were arrested for drug-related offences. Three PE outlets were found to have breached conditions under the Public Entertainments and Meetings Act. Two of these PE outlets and one other PE outlet were also found with fire safety violations.
4 During the operation, approximately 5.2 grams of ‘ICE’ was seized as case exhibits.
