Police have arrested a 16-year-old man who is believed to have committed a series of Obscene Acts in Choa Chu Kang.
2 On 16 May 2015, Police received a report of a man exposing himself to a female victim near Blk 708 Choa Chu Kang Street 53. Following the report, officers from Jurong Police Division conducted extensive ground inquiries to establish the identity of the suspect before arresting him on 15 June 2015 along Choa Chu Kang St 51. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect is believed to be involved in 4 other similar cases in the said neighbourhood.
3 The suspect will be charged in Court on 16 June 2015 for the offence of Obscene Act under Section 294 Chapter 224 of the Penal code. If convicted, he is liable to a fine, imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or both
