The Singapore Police Force held the Commissioner of Police's Commendation Ceremony 2015 at the Home Team Academy earlier today. Commissioner of Police, Mr Hoong Wee Teck was the Guest-of-Honour for the event.
The Commissioner of Police presented commendation certificates to individuals and teams in recognition of their outstanding work for the year 2014. A total of 178 Individual Commendation, 242 Team Commendation and 5 High Commendation awards were presented at the ceremony.
Commissioner of Police, Mr Hoong Wee Teck (left) presented the Individual Commendation Certificate to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Cyndi Koh from the Special Investigation Section, Criminal Investigation Department. ASP Koh was involved in several notable crime cases, such as the murder at Central Square Carpark in December 2011.
Commissioner of Police, Mr Hoong Wee Teck (center) presented the High Commendation Certificate to Staff Sergeant Fadli Shaifuddin bin Mohamed Sani (left) and Staff Sergeant Lau Hiang Kai (right) from the Patrol Unit of the Traffic Police. Both officers were commended for exhibiting the highest level of honesty and integrity when they rejected a bribe of $150 as an inducement for not arresting a suspect for drink-driving and driving without a valid license in November 2014.
