On 6 October 2015 at about 5.11am, Police on duty came across a person injured outside Bukit Timah Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC). An ambulance was activated and conveyed the injured person, a 42-year-old man, to hospital for medical treatment.
Following up on preliminary enquiries, Police proceeded to a residential unit at Leedon Heights, where the injured person’s son was found lying motionless inside a bedroom of the said unit. The five-year-old boy was subsequently pronounced dead by paramedics at scene at about 6.17am.
Police have classified the case as an unnatural death and the 42-year-old man is currently assisting Police in investigations.
