Seven subjects were arrested following a 4 hour joint enforcement operation conducted on 9 December 2015.
This operation was jointly led by Ang Mo Kio Division and Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement “F†Division and supported by officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). The officers conducted checks at public housing estates and public entertainment outlets in Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Serangoon and Punggol.
The seven subjects were arrested for suspected drug-related offences. 9 packets of ‘Ice’ approximately 10g, 1 straw of Heroin and drug paraphernalia were seized during the operation.
In addition, two Public Entertainment outlets were found to be providing Public Entertainment without a valid licence, and a fire safety violation was also detected in one of the outlets.
Investigations are on-going.
