The Police Coast Guard (PCG) arrested three men for unlawful entry into Singapore on 10 March 2016.

On 10 March 2016 at about 9.58pm, PCG detected three floating objects believed to be swimmers at the sea off Gedong, Singapore. PCG immediately deployed both land and sea resources to intercept the swimmers. At about 10.02pm, PCG craft successfully intercepted and arrested the three men aged between 22 and 29 for the offence of unlawful entry into Singapore under the Immigration Act (Chapter 133).

Commander of the Police Coast Guard, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Hsu Sin Yun said, "I appreciate the vigilance and commitment of my officers for the successful detection and arrest. PCG will continue to be steadfast and vigilant to prevent, deter and detect crime in Singapore waters.”
