The Police Coast Guard (PCG) arrested two men for unlawful entry into Singapore on 26 March 2016.
On 26 March 2016 at about 3.31 am, PCG detected two floating objects believed to be swimmers at the sea off Poyan Reservoir, Singapore. PCG immediately deployed both land and sea resources to intercept the swimmers. At about 3.37 am, PCG craft successfully intercepted and arrested the two men aged between 28 and 30 for the offence of unlawful entry into Singapore under the Immigration Act (Chapter 133).
