The Police Coast Guard (PCG) have arrested three men aged between 24 and 32 for unlawful entry into Singapore on 22 September 2016.

 

On 22 September 2016 at about 5.16am, PCG detected three floating objects believed to be swimmers at the sea off Woodlands Waterfront, Singapore and deployed land and sea resources to intercept them. PCG craft successfully intercepted and arrested the three men for unlawful entry into Singapore under the Immigration Act (Chapter 133). 

 

Commander of the Police Coast Guard, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Hsu Sin Yun said, "I appreciate my officers’ vigilance and commitment for the successful detection and arrest in the current heightened security climate. PCG will continue to be steadfast and vigilant to prevent, deter and detect crime in Singapore waters.”
