The Police have arrested two men for unlawful entry into Singapore on 2 December 2016.
On 2 December 2016 at about 12.31am, the Police Coast Guard detected two floating objects believed to be swimmers at the sea off Gedong buoy heading towards Singapore waters. Following the detection, both land and sea resources were deployed to apprehend the two swimmers. At about 12.44am, the two men, aged 22 and 29, were swiftly intercepted and arrested for unlawful entry into Singapore under the Immigration Act, Chapter 133.
