23 men were arrested for various offences in an overnight operation in Geylang that ended on Saturday morning, 14 January 2017.
The operation was led by Bedok Division and was supported by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Multiple raids were conducted at coffeeshops, entertainment outlets and back alleys in Geylang. The suspects, aged between 19 to 59, were arrested for various offences such as drug-related offences, fraudulent possession of property and for being members of unlawful societies.
Investigations against the suspects are ongoing.
