The Police have arrested a 52-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of House Trespass to commit Theft at a church along Telok Blangah Road.

 

On 18 March 2017 at about 2.00pm, one of the church staff reported to the police that four laptops with an estimated combined value of more than S$4000 were missing.

 

Through extensive investigative follow-ups and with the aid of CCTV footages, officers from Clementi Division identified the suspect who was arrested along Maritime Square on 19 March 2017 at about 4.40am.

 

The man will be charged in Court on 20 March 2017 with the offence of House Trespass in order to commit Theft under Section 451 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he faces a jail term which may extend to 7 years and shall also be liable to fine.
