The Police have arrested a 42-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of rash act causing hurt along Clementi Road towards Clementi Avenue
On 27 May 2017, a 30-year-old man reported that an unknown male motorist had hurled a rock at him and the lorry which he was driving.
Through follow up investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the suspect and was arrested him on 31 May 2017.
Investigations against the suspect are on-going. The offence of Rash Act Causing Hurt under Sec 337(a) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 carries a punishment of imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine which may extend to $5,000, or with both.
