In response to media queries, the Police confirm that on 4 June 2017 at about 5.37am, Thomas Chua Poh Heng, 39-year-old, has been arrested for an alleged shop theft case at a departmental store along Syed Alwi Road. The in-house security officers had detained him outside the store with an unpaid item and handed him over to the Police.
In addition, prior to the alleged theft case, the Police also confirm that Thomas Chua Poh Heng was already under investigation for 3 other separate police reports lodged against him since January 2017. Police investigations into these cases are still ongoing.
