The Police have arrested a 47-year-old man who is believed to be involved in a case of rash act.

 

On 22 June 2017 at 5.38 am, the Police received a report regarding a case whereby a bicycle was thrown down from Blk 11 Upper Boon Keng Road. Officers from Bedok Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and arrested the suspect on the same day.

 

The suspect will be charged in Court on 23 June 2017 with the offence of Rash Act under Section 336(a) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 6 months, or with fine which may extend to $2,500, or with both.

 

The Police take a serious view of such dangerous acts that endanger the lives of others and will take swift action against the perpetrators.
