The Police have arrested three women of foreign nationalities, aged between 37 and 42, for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities.

 

On 21 June 2017, officers from Jurong Division conducted a raid in the vicinity of Jurong West St 65, resulting in the arrest. Those involved allegedly made use of their stay in Singapore on valid social visit passes to commit vice-related offences.

 

Preliminary investigations revealed that they have been advertising their sexual services on various online platforms. During the operation, condoms and lubricants were seized as case exhibits. Investigations are ongoing. 

 

Anyone found assisting in vice activities will be dealt with severely. Any house owners who rent their premises to any person for vice-related activities may be prosecuted and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $3,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or to both.

 

The Police will continue to clamp down on criminal activities and those who engage in such activities will be dealt with sternly in accordance with the law.
