The Police have arrested a 23-year-old man believed to be involved in a series of Criminal Breach of Trust cases.

Between April to June 2017, the Police received reports from victims alleging that a man went uncontactable after they had entrusted their e-scooter or e-bike to him for repair or online sales. Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted extensive follow-up investigations and managed to establish the identity of the man. He was subsequently arrested on 21 September 2017 along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.

The man will be charged in Court on 23 September 2017 with the offence of Criminal Breach of Trust under Section 406 of the Penal Code. If convicted, he will be liable for an imprisonment term which may extend to 7 years, a fine, or both.
