2 This year’s exercise is part of the SGSecure movement to enhance community resilience, emergency preparedness and joint response during a terror attack. We have incorporated elements of ‘SGSecure for Workplaces’ – an initiative organised and developed by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), to strengthen the workplace vigilance and resilience to withstand terror attacks. This year’s exercise will highlight the emergency responses of security officers and tenants in Clarke Quay.
During the exercise, there will be firing of blanks within Clarke Quay. Members of the public are advised not be alarmed. “Exercise-in-progress” signage will also be displayed at and around the exercise areas.
Members of the public may contact the Police at the hotline: 1800-255-0000 for further enquiries.
