The Police have arrested four men aged between 30 and 60, for their suspected involvement in using fake concert passes to access a concert.

On 12 November 2017, the Police received a report that someone is selling fake passes for a concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium. Officers from Bedok Police Division responded to the incident and arrested the four men.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the men used fake passes to pass off as authorized personnel of the said concert, to escort unsuspecting concert goers into the event venue. The men charged the unsuspecting concert goers between $150 and $300 as entry fee for the concert.

Three of the men will be charged in Court on 14 November 2017 with the offence of Cheating under Section 417 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, they will be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 years or with fine, or with both. Investigations are ongoing against the 60-year-old man.
