The Police have arrested a 53-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 17 December 2017 at about 10.33 pm, a female victim informed the Police that she had been molested by a man onboard a bus along Lorong 4 Toa Payoh.
Upon receipt of the report, officers from Tanglin Police Division conducted extensive follow-up investigations and arrested the man along Toa Payoh Lorong 6 on 20 December 2017.
Investigations are ongoing. Anyone convicted for the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(2) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 5 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
