Largest Football Tournament For Youths In Singapore

Now into its 14th edition, Delta League uses football as a platform to engage the youths. The League is an island-wide programme consisting of more than 2,000 players from 118 teams competing in three different age groups (Under 15 Boys, Under 17 Boys and Girls), making it the largest football competition for youths in Singapore.

With strong support from both youths and their parents, Delta League has benefited numerous youths over the years. More than 300 football matches have been played during the current school holidays. Besides playing football, the youths also took part in different activities designed to inculcate a sense of social responsibility, teamwork and discipline such as designing of crime prevention posters and dissemination of crime advisories to members of the public.

The Delta League Community Day was also held on 2 December 2017 where the youths became crime prevention ambassadors and helped spread crime prevention advisories to members of the public at Causeway Point, Clementi Central, Esplanade, Jurong Point, Tampines Central, Toa Payoh Central and Waterway Point. It was a meaningful platform for the participants to have fun, learn about crime prevention while doing their part to keep the neighbourhoods safe and secure.

Record number of Female Participants

This December Edition of the Delta League saw an encouraging number of participating female teams which has doubled from 8 in 2016 to 16. This is the highest number of participation recorded for a single edition for this category.
