Two Restaurants in Chinatown Found to have Breached Liquor Licensing Conditions

Central Police Division conducted a series of licensing checks at bars, pubs and restaurants along Prinsep Street and Chinatown on 12 January 2018.

Out of the 44 outlets checked, two restaurants in Chinatown were found to have breached the liquor licensing conditions by supplying liquor and allowing liquor consumption beyond the permitted timing. Actions will be taken against these operators.

Any shops found selling liquor or allowing liquor to be consumed within its premise after the permitted hours could be fined up to $10,000.

Licensees are reminded to adhere strictly to the liquor licensing conditions.
