Eight women were arrested following a 6-hour joint enforcement operation conducted by Tanglin Police Division and Central Narcotics Bureau Enforcement “E” Division that commenced at 11pm on 11 Jan 2018.
During the operation, three public entertainment outlets were found to have breached the Public Entertainment Licensing conditions. Three women were arrested for appearing nude in a public place. Out of the three women, two were also arrested for employment and immigration related offences. In addition, five women were arrested for suspected drug-related offences.
Investigations against the suspects are ongoing.
The Police take a serious view of anyone found breaking the law and will continue to work with other law enforcement agencies to eradicate criminal activities. Offenders will be dealt with in accordance to the law.
