The Police have arrested a 25-year old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 21 January 2018 at about 11.55am, a 30-year-old victim reported that an unknown man had allegedly molested her at North Point Shopping Centre by touching her buttocks while she was shopping. The Police responded swiftly and arrested the man at the scene. Police investigations are ongoing.
Anyone convicted for Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 224 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
