The Police have arrested a 33-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 22 January 2018 at about 12.50 pm, a 24-year-old woman informed that she, along with two other women, had been molested by a man at a coffee shop located along Upper Paya Lebar Road. After being alerted to the case, officers from Tanglin Police Division responded swiftly and arrested him in the vicinity.
The man will be charged in Court on 24 January 2018 with the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years or with a fine, or with caning or with any combination of such punishments.
