Through extensive ground enquiries, the identity of the woman was established and she was arrested on 23 January 2018. The stolen jewellery amounts to $13,500.
The woman will be charged in the Court on 25 January 2018 for the offence of theft in dwelling under Section 380 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, she could be punished with imprisonment of up to 7 years.
