The Police have arrested a 43-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 6 February 2018, a 34-year-old woman reported that she had been molested at Admiralty Park.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the man had gotten acquainted with the victim via a social media platform and arranged to meet at the said location, where he allegedly molested her.
The man will be charged in Court on 9 February 2018. Anyone convicted for the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 is liable for a jail term of up to 2 years, or with fine, caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
