The Police have arrested a 36-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 17 February 2018 at about 8.30am, a 22-year-old woman reported to the Police that she had been molested by a man on board a bus along Changi Village Road. Upon receipt of the report, officers from Bedok Police Division arrested the suspect at the scene.
Investigations against the man are ongoing. Anyone convicted for the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 is liable for a jail term of up to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
