The Police have arrested a 34-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of theft of motor vehicle at Block 621 Bedok Reservoir Road.
On 21 February 2018 at 8.05am, the Police received a report that a lorry was missing from the car park at Block 621 Bedok Reservoir Road. The van was subsequently located in the vicinity of City Plaza. With the assistance from Ang Mo Kio Police Division and the aid of Police Cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on the same day.
The suspect will be charged in Court on 23 February 2018 with the offence of Theft of Motor Vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he will face an imprisonment term of up to 7 years and shall also be liable to fine.
