The Police have arrested a 48-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Outrage of Modesty.
On 16 December 2017, the 41-year-old victim, reported that she was molested in a car. Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the suspect and subsequently arrested him on 6 March 2018.
The man will be charged in Court on 8 March 2018 with the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 which carries an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
