The Police have arrested a 42-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 26 February 2018, the victim reported that she was molested at a bus stop along Orchard Road.
Through ground enquiries, officers from Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 23 April 2018.
The man will be charged in court on 25 April 2018 with outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
