The Police have arrested a 33-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of aggravated outrage of modesty.
On 14 May 2018 at about 8.50 pm, a female victim reported to the Police that she had been molested by an unknown man along Oxley Road. Officers from Tanglin Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and arrested the man on 16 May 2018 along River Valley Road.
The man will be charged in court on 18 May 2018 with aggravated outrage of modesty under Section 354A(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not less than 2 years and not more than 10 years and with caning.
