The Police have arrested 42 men and 6 women wanted for various criminal offences in an operation that ended on 31 May 2018.
During the two-day operation, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and the six Police Land Divisions conducted multiple raids at various locations islandwide. The 48 persons were arrested for various offences including rioting, loanshark harassment, cheating, criminal breach of trust, criminal intimidation and theft.
Investigations are ongoing.
The Police will continue with our efforts to hunt down criminals who are on the run and bring them to justice.
