The Police have arrested a 55-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of vandalism.
On 3 June 2018 at about 10.04am, the Police were alerted to a case where a man had smashed a glass panel of a Family Service Centre located at Delta Avenue where he subsequently assaulted a man.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of Police cameras, officers from Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 4 June 2018 along Hoy Fatt Road.
The man will be charged in court on 6 June 2018 with vandalism under Section 3 of the Vandalism Act, Chapter 341. If convicted, he shall be liable to imprisonment of up to three years or fine not exceeding $2,000/-, and shall also be liable to caning of not less than three strokes and not more than eight strokes.
