Two men, aged 23 and 24, will be charged in court for voluntarily causing hurt with common intention.
On 15 March 2018 at about 3.19 am, the Police received a report that a man was assaulted by a group of men at 323 Geylang Road. Through ground enquiries, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the two men and they will be charged in court on 8 August 2018. Another 23-year-old man is currently under investigations.
Any person found guilty of committing voluntarily causing hurt under Section 323 of the Penal Code shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine which may extend to $5,000, or with both.
