The Police have arrested a 49-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 26 July 2018, the Police received a report from a 31-year-old woman that she had been molested by a man at the overhead bridge along Jalan Rajah.
Through follow-up investigations, officers from Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him along Race Course Road on 2 August 2018.
Investigations against the man are ongoing. Anyone convicted for the offence of outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
