The Police have arrested a 25-year-old man who is believed to be involved in a case of theft of motor vehicle along Bedok Central.
On 19 August 2018 at 2.18pm, the Police were informed that a motorcycle was stolen from the multi-storey carpark of Blk 219 Bedok Central. With the aid of police cameras, the identity of the suspect was established and he was subsequently arrested on 20 August 2018. He is also believed to be involved in other cases of theft.
The suspect will be charged in court on 21 August 2018 with the offence of theft of motor vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 7 years and shall also be liable to a fine.
