The Police have crippled an online vice syndicate in an operation conducted on 19 September 2018. Ten women and two men, aged between 22 and 38, were arrested for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities.

During the operation, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Central Police Division, and Tanglin Police Division conducted coordinated raids at multiple locations island wide, including Geylang Bahru, Balestier, Sembawang and Novena.
