The Police have arrested a 32-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of aggravated outrage of modesty.
On 4 November 2018 at about 5.40am, the Police were alerted to a case of a woman who was molested in a residential unit located along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3.
Officers from the Jurong Police Division and Special Operations Command conducted a search and subsequently arrested him at the carpark of the residential unit at about 11.40am.
The man will be charged in court on 5 November 2018 with the offence of aggravated outrage of modesty. Anyone convicted for the offence of aggravated outrage of modesty under Section 354A(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 is liable for a jail term not less than 2 years and not more than 10 years and with canning.
