The Police conducted a two-day enforcement operation against massage establishments, liquor and public entertainment outlets along Serangoon Road, Rangoon Road, Jalan Besar, Hindoo Road, Rowell Road, Desker Road, Syed Alwi Road and Kitchener Road on 5 and 6 November 2018.
During the operation conducted by Central Police Division, two unlicensed massage establishments were detected. A public entertainment outlet was also found to have contravened licensing conditions.
Actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Massage Establishment Act 2017 and Public Entertainment Act.
The Police take a serious view of anyone found breaking the law and will continue to take tough enforcement action against such activities.
