The Police have arrested two men, aged 29 and 48, for their suspected involvement in a case of discharge of dangerous fireworks.
On 6 November 2018 at about 12am, a police officer spotted the fireworks along Gloucester Road. Through ground enquiries, officers from Central Police Division established the identities of the two men involved in the incident and arrested them on the same day.
Investigations are ongoing. Anyone convicted of discharging dangerous fireworks under Section 3(1)(b), Chapter 72, will be liable to a fine of not less than $2000 and not more than $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
