In a ceremony held at Clementi Police Division on 7 December 2018, Ms Fauzita Bte Ismail and Mr Henry Antoine Nicolas Sebastien were commended for their public-spiritedness in assisting the Police in two separate cases.
In the first case, Ms Fauzita, who is the security in-charge at IMM, had provided crucial information to the Police that led to the arrest of the subject in a case of theft that happened in the mall on 21 October 2018.
In the second case, on 4 November 2018, Mr Henry Antoine Nicolas Sebastien was at the Sky Walk at Sentosa when he spotted a teenager, who appeared to be in distressed, sitting dangerously on the fire hose container located on the ledge of the Sky Walk. Mr Henry Antoine Nicolas Sebastien approached the teenager and swiftly pulled the teenager to safety and held onto him until help arrived.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Jarrod Pereira, Commander of Clementi Police Division said, “The Police cannot fight crime alone and we are truly grateful for the continuous support from the public. Together, we will achieve our vision of making Singapore the safest city in the world.”
