The Police have arrested a total of 67 suspects, comprising 43 women and 24 men, aged between 18 and 65, in a multi-agency anti-crime operation which was conducted on 13 and 14 December 2018.
During the nine-hour operation, officers from the Singapore Police Force and Central Narcotics Bureau conducted a series of coordinated raids and proactive checks at various public entertainment outlets located in the central region of Singapore. The suspects were arrested for various offences including gang and vice-related offences. Some of the entertainment outlets checked were also found to have breached Public Entertainment Licensing Conditions. Investigations are ongoing.
The Police will continue to work with other law enforcement agencies and keep up the tough enforcement action against those pre-disposed to crime and illegal activities.
