Ten Arrested In Enforcement Operation Against A Public Entertainment Outlet Along Claymore Drive

The Police have arrested ten women, aged between 24 and 37, in an enforcement operation against a public entertainment outlet along Claymore Drive on 13 March 2019.

During the operation conducted by Tanglin Police Division and the Criminal Investigation Department, the public entertainment outlet was found to have contravened public entertainment licensing conditions. Ten women were arrested for working without valid work permits under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.

Investigations are ongoing.

Actions will be taken against the operator for flouting the rules and regulations under the Public Entertainments Act. The Police takes a serious view of anyone found breaking the law and will continue to take tough enforcement stance against such activities.
