The Police have arrested a 39-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 7 April 2019 at about 9.25 pm, the Police were alerted to a case of outrage of modesty at Mas Kuning Terrace involving a 33-year-old female victim.
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of CCTV footages, officers from Clementi Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 10 April 2019.
The man will be charged in court on 12 April 2019 with outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code. If convicted, he shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
