The Singapore Police Force will be conducting a counter-terrorism exercise codenamed ‘Exercise Heartbeat’ on Wednesday, 26 June 2019 from 10.00am to 12.00pm at the Ang Mo Kio-Thye Hua Kwan Hospital.
The exercise is part of the SGSecure movement to enhance the emergency preparedness of the community, as well as the joint response between the Home Team agencies and the community through a simulated terror attack.
During the exercise, blanks will be used and loud sounds may be heard. Members of the public are advised not to be alarmed. “Exercise-in-progress” signage will be displayed around the exercise areas.
