Four male teenagers, all aged 14, are under investigations for their suspected involvement in a case of theft in dwelling. 

On 18 August 2019 at about 12 pm, the Police were alerted to a case where cash was missing from a restaurant along 311 New Upper Changi Road.

Through investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the teenagers. Preliminary investigations revealed that the teenagers are believed to be involved in another similar case of theft in dwelling.

One of the teenager will be charged in court on 21 August 2019 with theft in dwelling with common intention under Section 380 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. Investigations are ongoing for the other three teenagers. Anyone convicted for theft in dwelling shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 7 years, or with a fine, or with both.
