The Police have arrested a 55-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of mischief by fire.
On 25 December 2019 at about 4.30am, the Police were alerted to a case of fire along Bedok North Road where a motorcycle was burnt. There were no injuries or casualties reported.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 29 December 2019.
The man will be charged in court on 30 December 2019 with mischief by fire. The offence, punishable under Section 435 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to 7 years and a fine.
