The Police have arrested two men and a woman, aged between 30 and 60, for their suspected involvement in a case of robbery with hurt.
On 19 January 2020 at about 1.20 am, the Police received a report from a male victim that he was robbed by two men at Block 78 Redhill Lane. Cash amounting to S$1200 belonging to the victim was taken.
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Clementi Police Division established the identities of the two men, and another woman and arrested them on the same day.
Both men will be charged in court on 21 January 2020 with the offence of robbery with hurt with common intention under Section 394 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. Anyone convicted with the above offence shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of not less than 5 years and not more than 20 years, and shall also be punished with caning with not less than 12 strokes.
Investigations against the woman are ongoing.
