The Police have arrested a 67-year-old woman for her suspected involvement in a case of vandalism.
On 18 February 2020 at about 11.40pm, the Police received a report to a case of vandalism where graffiti was found on the walls of two HDB blocks along Bedok South Avenue 1.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the woman and arrested her on 20 February 2020.
Police investigations are ongoing. The offnce of vandalism under Section 3 of the Vandalism Act carries an imprisonment term which may extend to three years or fine not exceeding $2,000, and caning of not less than three strokes and not more than eight strokes.
