The Police have arrested a 56-year-old man for his suspected involvement in two cases of sexual exposure.
On 21 February 2020 and 26 February 2020, the Police received separate reports of a man who exposed his private parts to female victims along Woodlands Ave 6 and along Yishun Ring Road respectively.
Through investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 4 March 2020.
The man will be charged in court on 6 March 2020 with sexual exposure punishable under Section 377BF of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.
Anyone convicted of sexual exposure shall be liable to a jail term of up to one year, or with fine, or with both. If the offence is committed against persons below 14 years of age, the jail term may extend to 2 years, with a fine or caning.
